This is a replica of a statue in La Place de la Republique in Paris, France. It was printed in 4 parts and was presented to Notre Dame's french club!
Blender and 3d Printing
We started looking at resources for 3d printing using Blender.. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dIAO1zS6oGY http://hackaday.com/2014/01/03/3d-printering-making-a-thing-in-blender-part-i/ We found out that Blender is probably overkill for 3d printing, Something simpler like Google Sketchup does a great job and is used by many people with 3d printers. Some of you already know a fair amount about Blender. so keep using it if you like!
